Theth is a gem placed in the heart of the Albanian alps with a few amazing attractions like the waterfall, the canyon, the Lock In Tower, the Church and all the crown of peaks around this valley, most of them can be seen within a day. Suitable for small groups, families or even just two people. We offer the possibility to customize it on your needs for families with children or senior people.

Departure & Return Location

Departures: Hotel Pickup Hotel pick-up is offered for this tour in 3 km around the city center.

Returns: To original departure point, or in the city center around 17.30 – 18.30 pm.

Stop at: Thethi National Park

The way toward Thethi National Park goes through the fields of sage and lavender in the Koplik area, proceeding then with the winding road in Boge valley and have a short break for photos at the panoramic glass balcony at Boga valley.
– The peak of Thore is the highest point of the road to Thethi. Here there is a complex of coffee & restaurant where you might have a stop (optional) for a coffee break enjoying the panoramic view of the peaks in the surroundings.
– Edit Durham lapide is another attraction on the way down to the valley, which is dedicated to the English writer who visited this valley in the 19 century and got amazed and wrote books about the traditions of these mountain people, which are described as welcoming people and faithful.

Stop At: Grunasi Waterfall & Canyon

The first stop of this day tour will be close to the canyon and start the hiking toward the canyon and to the waterfall of 1.5 hours in a round way. After this first hiking part, the tour will proceed by driving to Nderlysa village for 20 min toward Nderlysa village. Here finish the car road, and at first, you will be amazed by the stone groves of Nderlysa and the art-works of nature. From here, you will start hiking for 50 min to Blue Eye of Theth in Kaprre village in the middle of the woods.

Stop At: Blue Eye of Theth

Blue eye hole, or natural pool, is a water attraction placed in the middle of the woods, and it’s a fantastic surprise when you reach this place. It’s one of the most recommended places not to miss if you decide to visit Thethi. The water is very blue and cold; just a few people decide to swim here. Anyway, the atmosphere around, the fresh air and the sounds of the water gives you an inside peace and relax. For the more courageous ones who would like to swim in the cold waters of the blue eye, this is a fantastic opportunity for more extreme sports and adrenaline.

Stop At: The Church and the Lock-In Tower

After the hiking part of the tour and the visit of the leading natural attraction, we will return to the center of Thethi valley and have a lunch break (not included) in one of the restaurants of the valley. After the rest and before departing again toward the city, we will visit in the down valley the Church and the Lock-In tower.
