Life happens on the banks of Shala River, a branch of Komani Lake, and exploring by boat gives you an up-close look at its untouched nature, wildlife, and local traditions. The full-day tour on Shala River includes a round trip by boat on Komani lake and Shala river branch; a stops at one of the few cottages at this small shore; have lunch with fish and other local and traditional dishes. During the time that we will spend here you can choose to have swimming or other activities like fly fishing or trekking around the area in the woods for around 3.5 hours of total stay.
05.30 AM – Tirana
This destination is a unique and isolated place, a small paradise hidden in the corner of Komani lake.
Transport by minivan from Tirana or Shkdora to Komani ferry stop, 2.5h;
Transport by boat through Komani lake to Shala river, 1.5h;
Fish and traditional lunch at the rustic bar/restaurants in one of the two cottages on Shala’s river banks; Swimming or Trekking activities around the place;
Enjoying the surroundings or relax hearing the river sounds for a total of 3.5 hours;
Return by boat to Komani ferry stop,
Back to the city by minivan.
