The Monument of Friendship
This is a monument donated to the Albanian citizens by the friend state, Kuwait, who has been investing in the development of Albania since 1993. On May 30, 2016, the Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, the General Director of Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Abdulahab Al-Bader and the Ambassador of Kuwait in Albania, Fayez Mishari Al-Jassim inaugurated it.
It is concepted as a relaxing environment for people on hot summer days and has the flag colors of Kuwait’s state to remember the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. It is in front of the National Library.
